Are you using P3D v4? And are you using the most recent version of the installer?

Try cleaning your registry with the free ccleaner tool:

https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download

Then restart your computer, register the scenery again and see if it works.

Sounds like a problem with the vc++ redistrabutables installation. First you should get a window asking you where you want to install the flightscene folder. Did you see this window? Check if that or the config tool program is hiding behind one of your other windows.

Are you getting black buildings?

Try deleting the shader cache folder under:

C:\Users\<YOU>\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Shaders

P3D will rebuild it next time you start it.

When the scenery gets updated for P3D v5 I can look at removing the ACM tool. Animan.exe will always be needed due to the way the scenery is designed. Nothing is modified in P3D v4 except for adding the scenery to the scenery library.

There have been no changes made to the scenery itself, just some fixes to the installer.

Due to the way the scenery is designed, the wheels will appear to sink in the ground a bit.

@yksratnak - if the download is freezing then obviously something on your system is preventing the download of the file. That is why its important to disable real time protection in your anti-virus to rule that out as a cause. Which anti-virus are you using?
