Re: Registration problem on FSX

@Meeotech Are you using FSX SP2? For both of you: Make sure FSX and P3D are not running in any compatability mode (eg. win vista, win 7, etc). First download the free tool CCleaner and do a registry cleanse, restart your computer and register again. If you are still being nagged then disable real-ti...

Re: The building at the airport is not displayed.

There is no malware in animan.exe, which is guaranteed as long as you downloaded it from Simmarket. It would be incredibly stupid of me to put malware in software that has my name all over it. What proof is there that there is no virus in animan.exe? Don't you think this forum would be full of compl...

Re: The building at the airport is not displayed.

Enable Content Error Reporting in the Options menu of P3D. Try to run animan.exe again. You should find the error report in your documents folder: %DOCUMENTS%\Prepar3D v4 Files You can also try installing all the simconnect versions under the redist folder of P3D. There are several versions each in ...

Re: The building at the airport is not displayed.

Did you register the product with your serial number?

Start a flight at Tahiti Faaa in P3D. Manually start animan.exe by double clicking on it. Monitor it through the task manager, does it keep running or not?

Re: The building at the airport is not displayed.

The scenery depends on animan.exe to function. Under your Program Data folder (c:\Program Data\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\) open the addons.cfg file and make sure the following exists (with Your_Documents_Folder being the Documents folder location on your computer): PATH=Your_Documents_Folder\Prepa...

Re: The building at the airport is not displayed.

The XML entries are not required for P3D v4. Make sure animan.exe and flightscene64.dll exist in the flightscene folder (the folder you installed the scenery into). Then run P3D at Tahiti, press ctrl+alt+delete to start the task manager. In the processes tab do you see animan.exe listed?

Re: The building at the airport is not displayed.

Probably your anti-virus is interfering, so do the following: 1. Disable real time protection in your anti-virus 2. Add an exception in your anti-virus from scanning the flightscene folder (and FSX folder if you are using that). 3. Start the config tool, select "check for updates" 4. Run t...

Make sure you are using the most recent version of the installer. Download the latest one from Simmarket.

Re: DLL issues

Seems to be a problem with FSX, maybe try P3D.
