Flightscene.dll / Simconnect_text problem (FSX)

If you are getting an error about simconnect_text or a message about a problem with flightscene.dll when running FSX, this post will explain the problem and offer a solution.

The problem is that one of your addon modules is loading an older version of simconnect that is incompatible with flightscene.dll (there are 3 versions of simconnect).

To fix the problem, click the windows button on the bottom left and type in:

%AppData%/Microsoft/FSX

and press ENTER.

Email the following 3 files to support@flightscene.net:

EXE.XML
DLL.XML
FSX.CFG

The files will be re-arranged so that the newer version of simconnect is loaded first.

I sent you the files a few days ago, still haven't heard back, did you get them? Pretty disappointing that I (and looks like a few others) have had to go though this to get this working, if I even will be able to! Please advise the course I should take to make your software work.
